I was totally obsessed with cigarettes (you are completely normal) when I first quit (6 to 8 weeks) and was convinced I was thinking about them/craving them my entire waking day. Tea suggested I time the length and frequency of these, which were in fact only a few times a day and quite short in duration. This was a big wake up call and really worked for me.

Giving up smoking is a roller coaster ride of good days (yeah) bad days (boo) and there is absolutely no one right way to quit, it is whatever works. Whatever you are doing is working, why change your quit plan?
