@una-g  - we haven't tried it yet but it does sound delicious  :D

I'll be asking Mrs Finally! to give that one a go as I'm a disaster in the kitchen!
Can cook a roast and a full English but that's the limit.....
Finally quit after 35 years & several attempts.
Used Champix this time and it worked a treat!!
Last smoke 1 Nov 2013 and still going strong :)

@Finally! , if you can cook a roast and a full English there (a) clearly isn't anything wrong with your culinary skills and (b) my OH will probably want to marry you.  ;)
Finally saw sense on 8/12/13

So many mountains, so little time...

Me and you would be a great couple @Debbie - we're both accident prone!!! The slow cooker trend is good - honestly the people at work rave about how their dinner's cooked when they get home from work. It seems too good to be true!!

With ours you turn it off manually @Debbie assuming you've turned it on, that is ;D

Thanks now I have another problem if I turn it on before i go to work and then turn it off when I get in thats 9 hrs. Now I have to rely on my son to turn it off. What about if i bought a timer switch plug to plug into the socket and then plug the slow cooker into that. Then it will turn it off. X

TBH @Debbie an hour either way probably wont make any difference as long as you have enough fluid in the pot.

It should be fine as long as it's not too dry a recipe, I've often put mine on overnight on low and it's worked.
