I adore my slow cooker, but we are meat eaters. However I do a smoky bean hotpot that is just lovely (no meat). I just wish I had bought one sooner.it would have been even more useful when I was cookng for a family and not just the 2 of us.

Right. Well @Finally! I can confirm that it works. Put stuff in it and 8 hours later you have dinner. I did a veggie casserole with dumplings, so I had to put the dumplings in for the last hour and turn it up to high. The nice thing was not having to stand over it and stir and I went out for a run in the middle. Plus it's very clean and tidy - easy to wash up, no mess, no fuss.

I'll have to find something else to do in it on Tuesday so I can put it on before work and come home to find dinner done.

Excellent! - thanks for the update - 3 hours earlier than expected  :D

Hope you find a good recipe for Tuesday, straight home from work, eat dinner and the rest of the evening is yours.
