month four
« on: October 28, 2015, 07:12:11 pm »
sheesh. well I made three months. It's far from over though. but it's going well. NOPE. HALT. all the useful acronyms. I dont even know that many people who smoke. My fear is though that a life event may happen which will push me back to smoking. Just being honest. I dont want to smoke again - it's such a waste - but it's a self-destructive urge that may reappear if life turns bad.

still, time to celebrate breaking three months.

CHEERS ALL!!!

Nice work @RichCdLion
The Princess Xena thing could work. You are about to crack and are queuing up in the shop for a pack of 10, all of a sudden you feel a prod from behind with that sword, and you turn to see a scantily clad woman warrior. I wouldn't even be able to say 10 silk cut please if that happened, never mind buy them  ! :)
Enjoy your new room kk kk kk

Hahaha @RichCdLion I have always fancied being xena. There no looking back now the future is bright  ;) Don't worry about what could be and live for the moment. The moment for you is THREE MONTHS!!!!!

Of course if you did go to buy a packet, do look behind you because me and @tea are quite small and will sneak up on you in an instant. You have been warned!!

Excellent news, plugging away quietly in the background!
Once you get over the 2 months mark, it does get easier (but still need to be alert to cravings!)
Finally quit after 35 years & several attempts.
Used Champix this time and it worked a treat!!
Last smoke 1 Nov 2013 and still going strong :)

I was thinking of you the other day too, @RichCdLion  :)

So glad to hear things are still going so well. You're onto a winning mind-set I think, and I'd bet a great deal on you having permanently turned your back on the Demon Nic.  :vader: :vader: :foundbeer: :foundbeer: :foundbeer:

It's lovely to see you again. I hope you're going to treat yourself to a celebratory drink or six?  ;D
Finally saw sense on 8/12/13

So many mountains, so little time...
