Teflons Diet of Lard
« on: October 19, 2015, 01:09:45 pm »
So looks like I have some kind of eating thing going on. Blood is being taken tomorrow ahead of some gut in a few weeks subject to the results.
So I need to eat all of the stuff that has been making me feel ill over the last few months.

So my new diet is a binge of gluten, peanuts, chocolate, coca cola, pastries.
And that is just lunch, for dinner I shall be having pizza, garlic bread, pasta and ice cream.
Full english for breakfast
then donate a half an arm to the doctors so they can test for antibodies as apparently I am melting inside!

eeek.

Loving the new diet though but I will bloat up to extraordinary proportion and the farting may challenge champix.

ps interesting though this all kinda started when I was on champix nealy 3 years ago...... hmm interesting.

Watch this space, I will either explode, or become one of those annoying gluten free people soon.

I say gluten free, I refuse to stop drinking beer. dont care, shoot me now, not gunna happen.

Very interesting Teflon. Please keep us informed, I for one would like to know what's happening to you.  I was also on Champix about 3 years ago.

In the meantime, enjoy your chocolate, ice cream and pastries ;)

not great tbh, back at the doctors Friday, she suspect Chrons, but pretty tricky to diagnose. As long as I dont have to have an arse transplant I will be ok with it.

Not a glutenfree-ist though, so beer is safe. Though apparently she wants to redo that test anyway...... I think I am being awkward

Hi @Teflon my daughter has Crohn's and it's not that difficult to diagnose with the right tests.

From what I know about it, it normally affects people under 30

It could also be Colitis or IBS which are both similar.

Let us know how you get on

Take care

TBh I have no idea just saying what she said. All I know is that everything that is suggested I may have has a symptom of weight loss. So we can all take comfort in me being the exception to whatever rules may apply :p

More chips for me.

They usually rule out as much as they can before they think Crohns. They might put you on a liquid diet for a couple of weeks to rule out Diverticulitis as well. Gastro investigations always take a long time so I hope you find out what it is soon. Crohns can be very painful and exhausting so I hope it's something they can fix.
