Up a pound this week, and to be honest I'm pleased it was only one.  I have been eating rather too much of the naughty food again this week.

I can get on the scales twice within 5 mins and can gain or lose a pound, so you may not have gained anything @Sally

Oh this is cool, I have made a dramatic weight lose and now weigh 1 st 10 lbs  :foundbeer:

Well maybe now so cool as the "2" on our digital scales seems to have packed in  :nobeer:

So I probably still weigh 12 st 10 lbs  009

No weight loss this week but I blame @Kat73  for making me eat and drink more than I normally would  008

You menace!  Make up your mind!  Last thing you said to me was that you reckoned you might possibly have reined it in a touch with me there!

I can, however, state unequivocally that I have drunk far more alcohol in the past 11 days and it has been down to @KitKat and, since last Wednesday, my sister!

Time to go home and dry out methinks!

Ok so things don't seem to have gone to plan, not that I had a plan and I may have put on a few pounds, so this week I will try.

I went out last week and saw  a shirt that I liked, but it was "slim fit" .

I looked through all the sizes and there was slim fit, casual fit, regular fit, but I just couldn't find "porky fit".

Jeez, it so aint easy being me

Never mind @KitKat - you've quit smoking and you're about to enter the Penthouse. It don't get any better than that.

Yes we are @Glasgowgal  and have been for just over 5 years now so you would think that I would have the body of a finely tuned racing snake, which to be fair I did.

However as you know I gave up smoking a year ago and my weight went from iro 12 st to 13 5 lb ish , my NHS fighting weight should be 11 st 11 lbs

When we first started doing the 5:2 diet losing, 1 to 2 lbs a week was the norm and Mrs KK and I were happy bunnies and I had reached my target weight of 11 st 11 lbs and maintained it for several years within 2 or 3 lbs until last year.

Most of our holidays are spent on naturist beaches , we are what you would call holiday and garden naturists, so having a "reasonable" looking body is an incentive for us, given our lifestyle and not withstanding the health benefits of not being too overweight.

So to answer your question, yes we are doing the 5:2 diet and now that I have got my 1 year quit out of the way, I'm getting serious about losing the weight again.

I currently weigh 13 st 1 lb
Mondays and Wednesdays are our fasting days
Sunday is my weigh-in-day

Pleased to have to join me as I could do with some extra help and motivation

Oh goody, I think I will join in then and I will fast Monday and Wednesday.

Though I must say I am never mega mega strict on the fast day i.e. a think lassies are supposed to only have 500 calories, I would say I have maybe 600-700.

So today I had black coffee for breakfast, no sugar.  And I'll be having say 2 more of those throughout the day.  Lunch is 2 boiled eggs and one slice of brown bread (maybe a smidgen of ketchup  :) ) .  Dinner home made lentil soup, two mug fulls.  And lots of water throughout the whole day.  You reckon that is ok cal wise?
