Think I'll do tomorrow and Thursday - it doesn't matter so much which I pick as I'm not going to be going anywhere to do anything that could upset the apple cart.

Kat, you don't have to say how much you currently weigh, but it would be good to set a target over say the next 12 weeks.

If you set a modest target of 12 lbs ie 1 lb per week that should be more than achievable.

If you are fasting on Mondays and Thursdays, have Sunday as your weigh in day, so you can weigh today for your start weight and then weigh in each Sunday to see what you have lost. I doubt it will be linear, but that's quite normal.

Good luck.

You're quite right and of course I totally forgot!  Mind you, that's not such a bad thing in some ways as I'm back to the GP today and I wanted to run it by her and also see whether perhaps it would be ok for me to do my pre-op diet for a fortnight to kickstart things.  Horribly restrictive though it was, it really did give results and might help with my motivation - I'm rather in the It's-a-Mount-Everest-to-climb-and-who-the-hell-cares-anyway place at the moment.  Will report back in a bit!

Staying the same isn't bad.  Perhaps your scales were a bit out (in favour of weight loss of course!).

KK, you're not alone mate. I was really dedicated this week and expected to have lost a good proportion of the 2lb I want to shift before our holiday but I only lost 1/2 lb. I was so dogged off that I've been eating & drinking everything that isn't nailed down since Friday so heaven only knows what the state of play will be next week..... :-[

I hope next week is a better week for you and I shall endeavour to climb back on the food & drink wagon too.

Ok, Mrs KK thinks I'm mad, you will think I'm mad, but I have done a little research into how to loose weight, from Urine therapy to my latest idea of being cold helps increase your metabolic rate, which in turn burns off calories.

As some will know, our holidays are of the naturist verity, but in a warm climate, so not wearing clothes is quite normal for me, but to date only in the sun and on the beach.

So for the next week, I will only wear my birthday suit around the manor and test my latest theory, that being cold helps you loose weight.

Next weeks results could be quite interesting.

KK ;)

Ps, I will still dress for dinner

;D ;D Any excuse to strip off!

You're going to end up perishing cold you dingbat!  Or running around like this  :nobeer: to try and stay warm!

Whatever you do, don't answer the door au naturel, you'll get arrested!
