Day 10
« on: August 28, 2015, 03:52:21 pm »
Hi everyone. Just thought I'd check in and report things are going ok. If I disregard that 'just 1' blip I'd have been on week three. Oh well, hey ho. X

Nice one indeed, @Saucisse ! ;D ;D  ;D

As for not quite being in Week Three yet- what's a few days amongst friends? And when you're indulging in a nice, hot jacuzzi in your newly decorated Penthouse suite with a glass of fizz in one hand, a large bar of (miraculously zero calorie) chocolate in the other enjoying the wonderful view, a week will seem neither here nor there.  :)

Many thanks everyone.  Back in the UK at the mo for a fundraising event which was last night ..... all suffering, take out curry and early doors!
Jonathan and his two pals, having done numerous climbing bits are tackling Aconcagua in Argentina come December. They always fund these 'jollies?' themselves but raise money for motor neurone disease also.
Scary climb, not sure if high standard rugby playing or this alternative (retired rugby bods) of challenging a mountain .... don't particularly like either.  Love worried again Mum x

Well done Saucisse on 10 days.  Understand you're a worried mum, but climbing in Argentina what a wonderful thing to do.

Oh absolutely! That's a wonderful thing to do!  ;D Puts our excursions to the Lakes & Scotland into perspective. Wow, good for them. I can understand you being a worried mum, @Saucisse , but I bet you're a seriously proud mum too aren't you?

And you have to do these things whilst you're young and fearless....life is too short not to.... :)
