Pills, thrills & no bellyaches
« on: March 25, 2015, 02:47:27 pm »
I cannot rate Champix enough to be honest, but I always wonder to myself if they are a placebo and it was in fact my resolve that has got me to here?

I seem to have been so lucky on my quit, despite all that has been thrown at me. I never suffered any side effects on Champix other than crazy dreams, but then I live in a surreal world most of the time anyway so embraced them with gusto.

Please give them a go if you decide to quit, as I feel cockahoop to be nearly six months into my quit due to taking them. Just got back from putting a deposit on a brand new car, to replace the 13 year old one rusting on my drive - paid for with my smoking money.....makes me think what else i could have done with my life over the last 22 years.

(Climbs back into sideboard)

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't climb a ladder with a bell in both hands...

Quit date: 01/10/2014
Smoked for 22 years sadly...

:D Love it!  Hope we get to see a pic of the new wheels that the smoking monster is buying you - it's great to see all the goodies folk buy with money that would previously have gone up in smoke.

It is nice to hear some success stories about champix as their are quite a few horror stories about them. I think it like most things in life with the amount of quit smoking products out there nowadays their is a way for everyone to quit. It's find the product that works best for you that can sometimes be the hardest to part.

Mr Lawnmoverpants, you are a true gentleman, a bit whacky but we like you like that. You sir have been brilliant x

Quit Date: 04-04-2014

You don’t need cigarettes to be complete. All the happiness, comfort and peace you seek, is already inside you.

But did you have Champix dreams? I've heard they can be a bit exciting and I feel I missed out a bit going cold turkey  :(

you didn't get the farts?

waste! I nearly had to be given a badge telling strangers I was medicated to trump constantly.
It is difficult in high brow work meetings to not giggle when you have managed to get away with as much farting as I was doing.
