One foot in month three!
« on: January 17, 2019, 09:33:09 am »
Today is my 57th day so I have completed 8 weeks smoke free and am now entering month three, tentatively mind, as I have been here before a few times (just read my previous quit updates in this room).  :)

Health wise I am feeling ok but very overweight this year, my heaviest ever in fact!  Starting trying to deal with that a little over a week ago and have lost 3lb my first week so all good so far  :)

Haven't really had a crave for a couple of weeks now either.

App stats
Cigs avoided - 565
Cash saved - £240.13
Physical condition - improved 62%
Smoked for most of my adult life (and a fair bit of my childhood!).  Managed a two year quit 2014-2016 but started again!  Quit again on 6th January 2018 and lasted 7 months!  Third quit lucky 21/11/2018!

Congratulations on the 8 weeks, what a brilliant effort.

All the other quits have just been training and practice runs for this sucessful quit.

Go girl.

Oh well done @Nicky40 !! This is your quit- I can feel it. In fact, I'm already firing up the oven to make the cake for your triumphant arrival at the Penthouse  ;D 007 008

As for putting on a bit of weight.... you need a wee bit of ballast in this weather. Sounds like you've already started to tackle it anyway.  :)
Finally saw sense on 8/12/13

So many mountains, so little time...

Right with you Nicky.
You CAN and WILL crack this because you are clearly not going to take no for an answer on the quitting  :foundbeer:

Do not do the whole hokey-kokey.....jump straight to the good bit where you put your whole self in, don't tiptoe out, just put your whole self in and shake it all about   kk   kk   kk
