New room, new danger
« on: August 12, 2018, 09:57:54 am »
I am at last having the vivid dreams I have heard about.

2 nights running I have woken up convinced I have been out smoking in a bar due to the dreams I have had.

This morning I woke up having dreamt my mum does not believe I have given up due to my clothes smelling of smoke.

I am meeting the guy I last smoked with on Bastille Day this afternoon, this is a big trigger to facedown.

If I can do today I think I have a good chance of stay off the tabs.

Oh, those smoking dreams.... :)

You've built up a formidable arsenal of weapons now, dear @Not Another Puff , and I think you'll sail through today. Just hold firm and all will be well.

You're positively romping along now!!  ;D 007 :foundbeer: :foundbeer:

My favourite kind of dream - not.  I remember waking up feeling really disappointed that I had smoked only to realise that it was a dream.  But well done @Not Another Puff for getting through your ‘danger’ without giving in.  I hope you are bursting with pride because you kicked the danger to the kerb.   :foundbeer:

Ah yes those dreams, I had one recently and it was very vivid, the crushing disappointment when you wake up but before you realise it was a dream is horrible.

I wonder if it's your subconscious trying to get you to smoke again, or just missing the nicotine?
Smoked for 29 years.  Managed a two year quit 2014-2016 but started again!  Quit again on 6th January 2018 and I feel very determined this time.

Tends to happen when your body is cleaning out and kicking out the door old gunk @Nicky40 which is why it often tastes like you've smoked too. I remember mine so well, but I've not had one in a very long time.
