Getting there
« on: April 13, 2015, 07:03:38 am »
Im posting in here as Im a little confused as to what this room is for hahahaha. Been very busy as lover boy has been off work. My garden and my daughters garden are looking lovely now. So yesterday afternoon I rewarded myself by just lying in it.
My quit is slowly getting there. Still having thoughts as soon as I wake but after half hr Im ok.
Im not going to lie this has been the hardest quit to date not sure my mind is on the job but a day at a time xx

Great news and well done Debbie.!!

Sounds as if you are having a tough time - but it will get easier the further you get away from from Day 1.
Finally quit after 35 years & several attempts.
Used Champix this time and it worked a treat!!
Last smoke 1 Nov 2013 and still going strong :)

Lying in the garden and making the most of having 'lover boy' home sound like very good plans to me. Hopefully you'll turn a corner soon and those pesky thoughts will die down. I wonder if they're coming up as soon as you wake because your body is cleaning out and that is activating your smoking senses like when you have a smoking dream. Keep going day by day DD and make the most of the sunshine.

Maybe it was your smoking time, when you so called 'enjoyed a smoke'. I found the evenings hard because that was my time. You are in training Debbie, like starting a new job. It is strange at first, but if you stick at it, you will start to get it. Day by day, mate xxxx

Tan safely though Deb, you can still get a tan with your sun lotion on.

You're doing great DD, just smack those thoughts away as hard as you can and eventually they'll stop raising their ugly mugs.

Trust you to have a tan before we've even got anywhere near summer, you are a jammy so and so!  Glad you've had some couple time to enjoy, a tan isn't the only thing that makes a girl feel better! ;) :D

Debbie my brave and splendid darling,  :)

If you can hold onto this quit and make it the Forever Quit I promise faithfully from the bottom of my heart that come what may we will club together to buy you a Nic-o-Dic as a beautiful and tasteful reminder of your battle to freedom. Promise... ;D

You're doing brilliantly dear Debbie and I'm sure a spell of lovely, warm weather will help the psychological warfare you're currently engaged in. Perhaps this quit seems harder because you know deep down it's the permanent one?

All the very best to you- many positive vibes heading your way...xxx
