Also as I cheated on Saturday, do I have to go back to week 1?
35 years a smoker until Bastille Day 2018, now a smoker who is choosing not to smoke for the foreseeable future

That's very much up to the conscience of the individual church-goer @Not Another Puff . I think the consensus would probably be 'yes' but it really is your decision. Whatever is going to make it easier for you psychologically is the right answer. 

And your reasons for quitting are fantastic by the way  :). I should write that out if I were you, stick it up somewhere prominent and read it aloud every day.

Tough love says that if you want to be father of the bride at that wedding you need to go back to Day 1 and start putting that money in a jar for the dress.
