Hi @Sashie  I found days 3-5 quite difficult, it does get a bit easier after that though and the cravings won't be as often.  Just keep as busy as you can in places where you can't smoke/have never smoked.  I didn't take breaks at work as I wanted to avoid the temptation and bath then early night after work for those first few days.  You are doing so well though - you can do it.  007 007
Smoked for most of my adult life (and a fair bit of my childhood!).  Managed a two year quit 2014-2016 but started again!  Quit again on 6th January 2018 and lasted 7 months!  Back on the wagon again now...........

Hi really missing it today struggling so bad

@Sashie when I had a bad  time I found it helped to not think about giving up smoking for ever and ever but to just pledge not to smoke for today.

So how about everyone makes a pledge that we will all stand by @Sashie and not smoke today.
After far too many years I stubbed out my final cigarette on February 6 2011 at 10 pm and havent looked back since.

I’ll make the plaedge and stand with you @Sashie

Great idea @Titch

You’ve got this @Sashie.  You haven’t gone through the first couple of days of hell already to be quitting on us now. Eat a million calories today or whatever it is that you need to do to get through it.  It WILL get better!!!

Yes I’m slightly dreading it but pleased so far that I can actually smell my coconut shampoo during the day which I have never done before yucky fags !!!!

I found making mental notes of these positives really helped as I could remind myself I would loose that ability if I started again.  Just take it a day at a time, check in here as someone will always try to help you stay on the straight and narrow.

Just know you are stronger than you think and more stubborn than that nicotine gremlin.

Well done
