« on: February 06, 2018, 12:10:25 pm »
In the last 7 years I have not had one single puff and bearing in mind I was a 20 a day smoker for 35 years then i reckon if  a dedicated smoker like me can do it then so can all of you.  NOPE  :foundbeer: :foundbeer: :foundbeer: :foundbeer:

After far too many years I stubbed out my final cigarette on February 6 2011 at 10 pm and havent looked back since.

For she is small (even smaller than me and that takes some beating) but she fought the stinky foe in an epic battle and she prevailed and ruled for 7 years.

Best start counting out your mint balls @Kat73 that's 2557 days......

I'll upgrade the toilet roll.

If I wear heels and you wear flats Tea then we are probably equal.

You know I may be 7 years older than I was when I quit but I can honestly say I feel a million times healthier.  7 years ago I couldnt run to catch a bus, now I run 5k park runs each week, have done a couple of 10ks and have joined a running club and to add to it I go trampolining once a week.  Couldnt of done any of that when I smoked.

That's brilliant @Titch , 7 years really is fab.  As is all the running you do - must be super fit.  Well done  :foundbeer: :foundbeer: :foundbeer:
Smoked for most of my adult life (and a fair bit of my childhood!).  Managed a two year quit 2014-2016 but started again!  Quit again on 6th January 2018 and lasted 7 months!  Back on the wagon again now...........

And a special vote of thanks from me; you were one of the established quitters on The Place That Must Not Be Named and having people such as you, @Lostie and @una-g around reassured me that not only was a quit possible, but it was also maintainable.

Hope you are being spoiled as you deserve sweetpea, it's a mighty victory that just keeps on and on paying dividends for years to come!
