The amount of time I spent hiding either a) under the duvet or b) in the bath at the beginning of my quit was massive - I must've been the cleanest, most well rested I've been since I was a baby!  But hey, as others have said, spending time somewhere I never smoked really helped so go with whatever works @breakingfree.
Smoker for 20+ years with a 3 year quit in the middle
Used Champix 16/01/13 to 12/02/13
Last cigarette 8pm 28/01/13

@Gerti1 my problem time is after work as if I'm honest since re starting smoking after long quit I never really enjoyed that morning cig, the head rush was too much and I never got used to it in the way I was before.  That was one of the reasons I wanted to stop as I only really enjoyed maybe 1-2 cigs a day of the 10-15 I smoked.

@Kat73 Ha ha yes as well as being lovely and clean and rested my house is fairly spotless.  I have never been so on top of housework and washing etc.  This Saturday I won't have to spend hours cleaning so may go out somewhere instead  :)
Smoked for most of my adult life (and a fair bit of my childhood!).  Managed a two year quit 2014-2016 but started again!  Quit again on 6th January 2018 and lasted 7 months!  New Quit date 21/11/2018

Well I have had a tough day today, everything was a push and even sitting in the bath this morning felt hard work !!! By 11 I just knew it was going to be one of those dull, flat days and so on I ploughed. I just could not be bothered to do anything but I made myself do everything I was planning to do. I went to work in my little shop that I volunteer in this afternoon and just kept busy. I'm home now and will probably be in bed early as I have a lovely day planned tomorrow with friends. Glad today is almost gone and I know tomorrow will be fine.
I am going to do this
Quit 6th January 2018

Well done you @Gerti1 for recognising the low point and tackling it head on and putting it to bed (shortly). Hopefully tomorrow will be a much brighter day for you. I know some days I just needed to get to bed time...even if it was 8pm!

As @LAST CHANCE SALOON said to me when i had my crappy day, youve got to have a crappy day to appeciate the good days  ;)

Yay @breakingfree.  That’s right - celebrate every single day that you are NOT SMOKING because that is one day closer to being free from the prison sentence that Mr Nic has imposed on you. Count each day like you are counting down to zero days left to serve in prison because you will reach the end game and be rid of Mr Nic if you keep doing what you are doing, one hour, one day and one week at a time.
