Day 19
« on: January 25, 2018, 06:44:03 pm »
Started off well, work was ok, no craves as such but I have another stinking cold so wouldn't have felt like smoking much anyway.

This evening I walked the dog, got loads of active minutes on my fitbit but when I just synced with my phone it lost them  009

So now I'm all 'Why bother with anything'!
Smoked for most of my adult life (and a fair bit of my childhood!).  Managed a two year quit 2014-2016 but started again!  Quit again on 6th January 2018 and lasted 7 months!  Back on the wagon again now...........

Well done Nicky, I get that 'why bother' feeling too and I just take some long deep breaths and change what I am doing. My hubby likes a good 15 min chin wag at bedtime which has never been a problem but last night all I could think of was why doesn't he just shut the hell up !!! which is blooming horrible to think like that but I do and he does irritate me on a huge scale which is unfair on him. It's all mind games and they are not real.
I like the sound of a fit bit, what do they actually tell you?
I am going to do this
Quit 6th January 2018

Oh @tea you need a dog  :)

@Gerti1 when my fitbit is working properly - not today - it counts my steps (recommended 10k per day), miles or km walked, active minutes and heart rate. I bought one a couple of years ago when trying to get fit, this one is new and also a watch.  You can also enter food eaten on the app to log calories.

I feel better now. Laughing at myself now for losing it over phone being broken when I was pressing the wrong button to switch it on. At the time I was about to have a full on tamtrum.  :D

I might look into getting one @Nicky40 as it would help with keeping me on track with my walking. I haven't walked in a few days and my sleep has started playing up
I am going to do this
Quit 6th January 2018

I've always fancied a FitBit thingy but my laptop is pretty rubbish and i just assumed I'd have to sync it to a computer but can you use your phone?  If so, i might look into one :)

You are doing so well @Nicky40 , very inspiring :)
