Now I'm at the end of week three, 21 days today!  :)

Keeping busy today cleaning, ironing etc - oh Saturdays are so exciting.  Tonight I am going out and will be drinking, and there will be some smokers there.  I had 4 drinks at home last night and didn't want to smoke so I'm hopeful but worried.  I may dig out my e-cig that I bought when I packed up 2014 - I'm sure it still has unused cartridges.  I am hoping to post in the new room tomorrow.
Smoked for most of my adult life (and a fair bit of my childhood!).  Managed a two year quit 2014-2016 but started again!  Quit again on 6th January 2018 and lasted 7 months!  Back on the wagon again now...........

Oh ho ho check you 21 days! I would take the vape nicky, just in case. I suppose if your going out they cant smoke where you will be theyll have to go outside so wont be in your face? I dont know about anyone else but as a non smoker i still like to go out to get some fresh air. But that could be mega risky nicky if youve been drinking and they are smoking. Anyway, ive every confidence in you, im sure youllbe fine. Enjoy your night and ill see you in the new room tomorrow  ;)

That's great @Nicky40! Why don't you think of tonight's outing as a celebration for being able to post in the new room tomorrow. That should be incentive enough to keep the Nic Demon away for the night!!

Just my tuppence worth  008
I would be very very careful tonight. Drinking, plus smokers = temptation
.. and although your e cig might be a good idea I would be inclined not to take it in case you end up stood sucking on it while one of your mates says " have a real one for f****s sake "  001
Good luck anyway don't let yourself or us down x

Thanks everyone.  I found an old vape and a bottle of zero nicotine juice.  I found the e cig a great help my last quit for around 2-3 months when I went out.  The smoker who is a good friend is ill so not going now which will help and I am out with my husband, who doesn't smoke.  I think I have got this, it will be ok.  Practice for next weekend when I have family staying over for the weekend, both smokers.  I have too many immediate family who smoke so I need to get used to being around them.  I have done it before and I know I can do it again.  :ninja:

3 weeks @Nicky40, that's a big number, I remember getting there and thinking I can do this now. I take my vape with me and find I go outside  with the smokers at the legion, all 2 of them, for 1 minute, think of what they are doing to themselves, then come back inside. I think its a habit i'm still getting over. keep going, I don't even want a smelly fag any more.003
Quit 16th November 2017.
Last smoke 21st November 2017.
