Month three
« on: January 06, 2018, 08:30:09 pm »
Well ive somehow made it to month three. And ive pretty much sailed here, there has been no bumps in the road. I was a bit worried at the beginning as i was finding it easy, i worried about it turning to not easy! But that has not happened. And a few folk here have said their long quits have been easy the whole way so i reckon that is my destiny  ;) i dont know how this happened i think everything just seemed to click into place at the right time. To quit smoking is the best decision i think ive ever made.
Quit Date 6/11/17

I haven't had experience of many of your decisions.....but I'm pretty sure the decision to give up smoking has got to be in the top 5 of your life. Blooming well done and keep deciding to stay quit every day.  :foundbeer:

Attagirl GG! :foundbeer: :foundbeer: :foundbeer:

I don't know whether having a quit run smoothly and easily is better than having to fight every moment, we're all different and just as some of us respond better to a kick up the bum, others need the stick and carrot approach.  In any event, I'm really happy for you that you're motoring along, gathering speed 010 and getting ever closer to the Penthouse.  It's entirely possible that it will prove to be a smooth journey all the way but just in case, make sure you keep your guard up, it would be heartbreaking to get several months under your belt and then fall foul of an ambush by the crave monster.

Crack on my lovely, you're doing GREAT! ;)

Oh my word @Glasgowgal I’ve got a sore head from all of that partying last night! Brilliant that you’ve upgraded to the month 3 room and I’m very envious of your easy run but as @Kat73 says make sure you keep that guard up! Can we have a quiet night in tonight please? Maybe curry and a movie? xx

Well done @Glasgowgal three months is fab.  Glad to hear you have had no major craves or problems.   007
Smoked for most of my adult life (and a fair bit of my childhood!).  Managed a two year quit 2014-2016 but started again!  Quit again on 6th January 2018 and lasted 7 months!  Back on the wagon again now...........
