Oyez 50 days
« on: January 04, 2018, 10:23:48 am »
50 days today I think, GG would know. It wasn't a target but seems worth a mention, but 50 weeks is a target but lets not wish 2018 away, there's a lot to do yet and there is the 2 months of summer to come. Can't decide whether to get more lozenges today or not as i'm not using them at the moment. Still having a 6mg vape first thing which is working well, but its a bit like cigs, have I got juice, is the battery charged and a very dry throat so might try to take more lozenges, but not smoking or getting craves. Onwards and up.
Quit 16th November 2017.
Last smoke 21st November 2017.

Well done @LAST CHANCE SALOON keep notching up those days. Personally I would give the lozenges an up to try and get rid of the vape but every one does their own quit in the way that works for them so do what you're comfortable with!

Hi @Enough42 ,yer we're still here and still going strong, you had it rougher than me, but without the forum we would be on our own and probably given up the fight by now.

Thanks everyone. As I had an hour to spare I thought I would read a few more early posts on here, I haven't read 5% of them yet and then I thought I would read my own posts and was surprised how much of a struggle it was some days, I thought I had a very uneventful quit, with not much help to anyone but I had my moments. Great to jump to 50 days and see how others were coping.

Wow @LAST CHANCE SALOON 50 days is brilliant.  Dont scrimp on the lozenges if they are helping you, always better to have a back up if needed.
After far too many years I stubbed out my final cigarette on February 6 2011 at 10 pm and havent looked back since.

Thanks all, I picked up another box of lozenges yesterday but don't seem to need them. I am using my old vape in the morning and called at a vape shop on the way back from pharmacy and he had 3mg juice, I thought 6mg was the lowest, so giving that a go, but no smoking demons at the moment and I wont be letting any one down any time soon, and £900 pound not gone up in smoke already.
