Mine is Stop smoking now by Professor West PhD.
It helps build a plan to quit but also explains why we smoke and how to retrain your brain x

I didn't use any of those. But I do like 'Changing for Good' by Prochaska, Norcross and Diclemente I think which is about changing behaviours and is probably most easily identifiable by anyone who has done any drugs training as the addiction cycle (precontemplation, contemplation, action, maintenance, lapse and relapse).

I read the Allen Carr, I think the main thing I learnt from it was, the addiction side of it, I guess stupidly I never realised I was an addict. Also another thing what stuck in my head was the question about do or did you really like the taste of smoking, after smoking for about 35 years I thought I did but how can you say you like the taste of it, it's gross

I read a book from Allan Carr, did nothing for me.

Reading light romance book at night helped.  I had a hard time concentrating so easy reading was the best.  It did not matter if I skipped a line or two or a page lol.

Now, nearly no one admits reading romance book, a sort of shame status related to that.  They are the best selling books that makes the most money.  I am so ashamed  ;D
