Day 15 Going Down
« on: November 20, 2017, 01:56:47 pm »
Hi everyone,

Just back from my weekly visit to the pharmacist and i got a co2 reading yayyy.  And its down to 3 woop woop  :foundbeer: :foundbeer: :foundbeer: :foundbeer: :foundbeer: :foundbeer: :foundbeer: :foundbeer: :foundbeer:

Very happy with that.  So the bank balance is going up and the co2 level going down, allllll good  ;)

Changing habits - instead of nipping out for a fag every hour at work im going out for a walk at 11am and 3pm with non smoking colleague.  Really enjoying that.  We go for a walk every lunchtime, but getting two extra wee walks in is great. Love the fresh air and it breaks up the day.

yay go you Glasgowgal.  You are doing so well.  More money in your pocket and less CO2 in your system.  Thats got to be something to celebrate.

Going for a walk is a really good idea although not sure if Id want to be out walking today.  Cold, damp, foggy, chilly, windy, dismal, grey etc.   :-[ :-\ :'(

After far too many years I stubbed out my final cigarette on February 6 2011 at 10 pm and havent looked back since.

As Billy Connolly once said

I know!! I was chuffed!

The pharmacist was a little better today but clearly never smoked before as she shows zero empathy. But hey ho its all good and got my kit for the week.

Hey did a yoga class first time in a while. Wowwww it was amazing. Really relaxing, i mean reallllllly relaxing. I would recommend to anyone and everyone.

How annoying @Glasgowgal  >:(.  I remember asking my lovely quit nurse (Nicky) when she had quit because she was so totally empathic about what it was like. I was really surprised when she said she'd never smoked (which goes to show that the two tings don't always equate).

Glad you enjoyed your yoga class  :)
