Just goes to show
« on: September 21, 2017, 09:35:50 am »
I had to have a lung function test yesterday. Now bearing in mind that I smoked for around 35+ years and I have now not smoked for 6 1/2 years my lungs are working at 102% and I have a lung age of 57 (Im 60 in December). Some of this is due to the fact that the new non smoking me has become fitter and I have taken up running but this just shows the damage from smoking can be reversed.

After far too many years I stubbed out my final cigarette on February 6 2011 at 10 pm and havent looked back since.
