Week 2, it's happening
« on: April 03, 2017, 07:22:16 am »
Without much drama at all I'm on day 8. Still keeping as far away from situations that awaken old longings I'm doing pretty okay. And no beer means -3lbs.
Thank you all for your support here it's invaluable. And keep posting stories yall, us early day abstainers need to see it's possible! Xx
Quit date 27th March 2017.

Congratulations on being smoke free for a week. I hope your friends and family are proud too. Have you noticed any changes in your smell and taste yet?

Congratulations on getting that first week out of the way :foundbeer: Don't forget to buy yourself something special with the money you have saved. Not sure if you are male or female but if male, maybe a book or something you are interested in, if female maybe a bunch of flowers.

@Lostie Im going to save for a few months and then buy some jewellery, its something I would never normall buy myself. At the moment im just so relieved I got through days 3/4/5 as thats the time when I say Ill just have one and start fresh, and then smoke for 6 months. Its feels diferent this time, this is the one!

I'm vicariously excited for you!! Honestly, taste a mango and a tangerine now and they will taste completely different to how they tasted before.

8 days is great , well done. For me the big deal was me NOT smelling (of smelly cigarettes). Your kids will love the new fragrant mummy. Just keep on keeping on x
