Day 14
« on: January 26, 2017, 10:59:46 am »
  :)
I'm not posting a lot as per my previous fails ..... It's tempting fate !!!
I did have half a one three days ago but I've disregarded it ..... Hope that's ok?   I lost the plot completely and so regret it.
Am now getting used to the "squirty replacement" first thing in the morning without it choking me which is making life easier.
Xxxx
History ..... Just one thing after another.

Keep on trucking @Saucisse and remember NOPE- if you can get that firmly established as a non-negotiable mantra you can't go wrong. You're doing wonderfully well.

And yes, what is the squirty stuff?

Ha ha Tea .... Fun but not in this freezing weather. :)

The squirty stuff is nicorette quick mist ..... it's advertised on the TV by some young person who makes the useage look so simple!!!  I was obviously doing it completely wrong and started coughing and spluttering immediately.  Am now getting fairly adept at it bar the initial 'shock'!  It's definitely helping for the first thing in the morning crave, then after showering the patch takes up its duties.

Just been to see my smoking cessation lady ..... Apart from spending most of the appointment discussing my epic fail at the hairdresser  :-\ she was extremely pleased and will keep prescribing the big patches for me until I'm confident about stepping down.  X

Fantastic @Saucisse  008 ! Makes such a difference when you have a good and supportive cessation person. I was so lucky with the Lovely Nicky (if you're out there, Nicky, I still think of you and thank you  :))

Well done Saucisse, we can share patch stories
I am free to smoke whenever I want to.
I am choosing not to smoke at the moment.
Because it stops me breathing.
Quit 25th November 2016
Smoked 20-25 a day for 30 years
