Champix was my saviour
« on: April 18, 2015, 04:26:08 pm »
I was a life long smoker (or so I thought) - tried everything bar the e-cig, nothing worked for me.
Lozenges and patches just prolonged the agony - will power was none existent.

I did really enjoy my cigarettes, so I thought , that's it - I'm never going to stop - deep down I suppose I didn't really want to quit.

Then one day I discovered Champix - did a little research on them and  decided to give them a go.

I started the course back in Oct 2013, stopped smoking after 8 days, run the course for about another 2 1/2 months and have never looked back.
Side effects were minimal and didn't get any unusual dreams that have been mentioned in the past  :(

Today, I'm on Day 533 and have not spent £5000 on cigarettes.

Do I feel better? - no doubt about it!

Finally quit after 35 years & several attempts.
Used Champix this time and it worked a treat!!
Last smoke 1 Nov 2013 and still going strong :)

£5000 is a lot of money that would've gone up in smoke. I wonder why some people don't get Champix dreams and some people get really racy/spacey ones.
