day 11
« on: January 21, 2016, 08:51:19 am »
between the coughs, the sprays the medley of meds and my inhalers...i do weirdly feel relieved, atleast i wouldn't dare smoke...

comes with the suspicion...what happens when this passes ? would I be equally tempted ?...or would the craving get stronger ?

anyhow, time will tell I guess...

which one of you suggested fishermans friend to me last time ? double thumbs up !
repeat offender, still trying to go cold turkey !

That'd be our lovely @tea pseudo - I take it you're a convert? ;D

Don't look too far ahead and worry about whether Day X will be hard going, just deal with now - sufficient unto the day and all that.  I doubt any of us now living the high life in the Penthouse would ever have made it through and taken up our residence in these hallowed halls had we spent too much time dwelling on the days that lay ahead of us.  Budgeting experts say things like "take care of the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves" and to be honest that's something that can be directly translated to quitting - just focus on holding on to your freedom in the here and now and tomorrow's freedom will naturally follow.

You're in double figures already and gaining on your two week milestone - how fab is that?!  Well done you  8)

Completely agree with @Kat73 here. Just look at today mate. Say to yourself every morning I will not smoke today, like a pledge to yourself, no matter what.

Looking good though!! Day 11  ;D ;D

That'll have been @tea . She found them an absolute godsend.  :)

You're doing SO well @psuedo. Just keep telling yourself that if you can ride out your quit you'll never feel as pants as you have felt ever again.  :) :)
Finally saw sense on 8/12/13

The physical craves should be alot weaker. You just need to make sure when you are feeling better that the voices dont take advantage. You are doing so well you might aswell keep going.
otherwise you will find yourself doing this forever. Wanting to quit, trying and then relasping x
