Hello day 2
« on: January 12, 2016, 06:35:03 am »
Good morning  ;D

Well, other than being dizzy I'm actually feeling fine, which is wierd.  :nobeer:

I had a few strong urges yesterday and constant weak ones but just getting up and moving around got rid of them.

So far day 2 feels the same.

I hope everyone has a fantastic day  :foundbeer: :foundbeer:

Molly  ;D

Come on Molly you can do this. Are you using anything to help or just gritting your teeth and ploughing thru. X

Thanks everyone,

@tea I've been sipping water pretty much constantly so far, it was a way to redirect my brain yesterday when I felt a strong urge.  Get up, go to the kitchen and get a glass of cold water and sip it slowly.  By the time I had finished the urge had passed.

@TG and @Lostie thanks, I'm feeling really good so far.  ;D

Hiya Debbie, no, I'm not using anything but I did read Allen Carr's book on Sunday.  I finished it at midnight, had my last cig and went to bed.  I can't believe the difference it has made to me in comparison to the last time I quit.

I haven't felt anywhere near as bad as I did last time.  I can concentrate, I'm not getting irritable or emotional so far.  Just a little light headed and definite urges but ones similar to those I got 3 to 4 weeks into my quit last time.

I'm puzzled, I must admit, I can't believe reading a book makes this much difference but it certainly seems to have done  :foundbeer: :foundbeer:

How are you doing sweetie ??

Well done Molly, you sound very calm and in control.  Like Debbie I didn't find the book very helpful but I know loads of people who swear by it.  Everybody's quit is different and just go with whatever works for you.

Well done @Molly 1970  seems as if you are mentally in the zone with this quit.

Day 3 tomorrow, once it is over all the nicotine is out of your system meaning you will be completely free of Mr nic, sounds good doesn't it!
