'Crave' foods
« on: April 04, 2015, 12:05:34 pm »
Just out of interest- what foods did/do you crave during those early quitting days? For me, once I had reached the point where I wanted to eat again (everything tasted of sawdust for several weeks and I felt too churned up to eat much) I had an overwhelming urge for carb-heavy things- bread, crispbread, flat breads, oat cakes, etc. The other thing I had an urge for was fruit, particularly mandarin oranges. When OH quit, he craved cheese & onion crisps.

Did you hanker for sweet? Savory? Over to you.... :)

..And anything it doesn't cure will be cured by chocolate or fizz. Or very cold, very dry, white wine. And olives.  ;D

I don't think I had crave food...I was always hungry.  The weird thing is that coffee was no longer good.
